We are pleased to invite you to visit Kristijonas Gurčinas’s exhibition Klausykla (“Confessional”) at the VAA Artifex Gallery in Vilnius. Continuing the themes explored in his previous exhibition Fantasmagorija, Gurčinas examines humanity’s relationship with transcendence, sin, and the imagery of death through the lens of contemporary popular culture. Bringing together mythological narratives, biblical figures, fairy-tale motifs, and video game icons, the exhibition transforms the confessional into an intimate yet paradoxical space where sacredness meets the profane, sincerity meets irony, and personal fears and desires intertwine with collective cultural memory.
The exhibition will be on view from October 20 to November 13, 2026.
Location: VDA Artifex Gallery, Gaono St. 1, Vilnius, Lithuania.
