Solo Exhibition
Opening on 8 October, 6–8 PM at Galerija VARTAI
You might think that this exhibition is about extraterrestrial beings living on a distant planet. This first impression stems from the title 'Extraterrestrial' (not of this world). In reality, it is a process of observation: of the forms and energy fields in the environment, which often go unnoticed, as if at the intersection of matter and consciousness, a dimensional breach occurs.
Oumuamua – the mysterious visitor from another star system – is a symbol. It is an outsider, a signal resonating between parallel realities. Not everyone can understand it, yet anyone can observe and interpret it in their own way. It raises questions about the boundaries between the familiar and the unfamiliar, the visible and the invisible, the physical and the mental, between linear timelines and the pulse of a fragmented reality.
I have noticed that, when I am with people, I often find myself elsewhere. I hear their voices, see gestures, and laughter, but do not feel that I am participating. My thoughts arise elsewhere – I observe, analyze, yet do not intervene. Sometimes I see myself from the outside, as if appearing in the room only as a quantum figure, not interacting with others, existing in my own world.
These moments, though brief, leave a strong impression. They teach me to perceive the environment in a new way – to notice every fragment, form, and subtle movement. This is the feeling I aim to convey through my works: being here, yet elsewhere. Dissociation becomes a tool to perceive, understand, and interpret the surroundings, offering the opportunity to experience “extraterrestrialness” not only in distant environments but also in our world – as if stepping into a spatial resonance field, where reality takes on a fragmented, multilayered structure.
