Changing States (2) is a large-scale textile work that explores the theme of transformation, both in material and emotional states. Printed with a marble and stone pattern, the padded surface is layered with silicone and framed by carved wood, challenging the traditional separation between image and frame. This blurred boundary reflects the fluid nature of transformation, where textures reminiscent of skin, stone, and mirrors evoke shifting conventions, encouraging viewers to reconsider the relationship between surface, memory, and touch.
