We are pleased to announce a major solo exhibition by Goda Palekaitė at Kunsthal Extra City in Antwerp. Bringing together recent works and ongoing research, the exhibition continues the artist’s long-term engagement with memory, imagination, and the construction of historical narratives through film, installation, text, and performance.
Working across disciplines, Palekaitė often develops projects through archival research, conversations, and speculative storytelling, creating spaces where personal experiences intersect with collective histories. Her practice moves between documentary and fiction, paying close attention to overlooked voices, fragile knowledge, and forms of emotional and political inheritance.
