We are pleased to announce Master and Apprentice, an exhibition at designforum Wien exploring the dynamics of mentorship, exchange, and the transmission of knowledge across generations within contemporary Lithuanian design. The project highlights how practices evolve through dialogue — between experience and experimentation, tradition and innovation.
Among the featured participants are our beloved designers Marija Puipaitė, Mantas Lesauskas, Liepa Marija Gradauskaitė and Vesta Rugilė Nausėdaitė, alongside exhibition architecture by Vytautas Gečas. Together, they represent a cross-section of material-driven and conceptually grounded practices spanning product, furniture, applied design.
The exhibition positions Lithuanian design within an international context, foregrounding collaboration, continuity, and the shared shaping of creative trajectories.
