Galerija VARTAI is pleased to recommend Geistė Marija Kinčinaitytė's latest solo exhibition 'Sunless Seas of Ice' at Kunstverein Schwäbisch Hall. The exhibition explores tensions between techno-utopian narratives embedded in space exploration and current geological and political ‘tremors’ of the earth. In her photographic works and moving image installations, such frictions emerge as juxtapositions between the changing Icelandic landscape and the future of lunar economy.
