Žilvinas Kempinas (g. 1969) – vienas žymiausių Niujorke gyvenančių Lietuvos menininkų, garsėjantis kinetinėmis skraidančių magnetinių juostelių ir ventiliatorių instaliacijomis. 2012 m. Ž. Kempinas pelnė Nacionalinę kultūros ir meno premiją, 2009 m. galerija VARTAI jį pristatė 53-ojoje Venecijos bienalėje, o 2010 m. – Liverpulio šiuolaikinio meno bienalėje. Ž. Kempinas yra surengęs personalines parodas ir dalyvavęs grupinėse ekspozicijose svarbiausiuose pasaulio muziejuose, tarp jų Niujorko „MoMA“, Pompidou centre Paryžiuje, Tokijo Mori meno muziejuje, Vienos „Kunsthalle“, Bazelio „Tinguely“, Birmingamo „Icon Gallery“ bei kitose prestižinėse institucijose.
