In the series Sunflower, the work continues the exploration of transformation, self-awareness, and growth, embodying themes of light and energy. The sunflower becomes a metaphor for the protagonist’s journey—constantly reaching for the light, symbolizing the desire to break free from its predatory instincts and embrace a more conscious existence. In this piece, the sunflower’s orientation toward the sun reflects the process of personal growth, learning to draw energy from positive, creative sources rather than destructive ones. This shift marks the protagonist’s evolution, using their inherent power for good rather than consumption.
The work in Sunflower portrays the delicate balance between inner transformation and interaction with the environment, capturing both vulnerability and resilience. The sunflower’s growth and movement reflect the broader human journey towards understanding, empathy, and the desire to thrive in harmony with one's surroundings. It encourages viewers to reflect on their own paths of personal evolution, reminding them of the importance of growth and adaptation in both nature and human experience.
