Pod – a woven sculptural object inspired by the author's childhood drawing with a possibility to store desired items inside. The object was created based on the principles of children's creativity in order to emphasize the importance of inner freedom. Pod is handmade from a single material - Lithuanian willow, therefore it is completely sustainable and biodegradable. This innovative use of weaving reminds us how important it is to honor our culture, traditional Lithuanian crafts and makes it appealing for a modern day user.
