We invite you to watch a lecture by Vilnius Academy of Arts professor Dr. Giedrė Mickūnaitė titled “Depicting and Imagining Hell,” followed by a discussion with cultural historian and mythology researcher, Vilnius University lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vytautas Ališauskas. In the discussion, we explore parallels between the Middle Ages and today, representations of hell in art, and their meanings across different historical periods.
