Overview

Exhibition Opening:

2025 06 06, 18:00 - 20:00

Continuing our ongoing commitment to emerging artists, we are pleased to once again host graduation exhibitions by Vilnius Academy of Arts graduates. This year, we are proud to present the works of Liucija Pačkauskaitė and Paulina Domašauskaitė.

The title of Paulina Domašauskaitė's exhibition Kire tsuzuki (eng. cut continuity) refers to a concept in the Japanese aesthetic tradition that defines the relationship between interruption, pause and continuity. This approach acts as a guiding principle for the exhibition's exposition, in which the presented works are removed from their temporal and local contexts, interrupted and transformed into new content. In this way, a dialogue is created between the past and the present, where the connotations and interpretations of previous representations are symbolically destroyed, but at the same time given new forms of being.

Paulina Domašauskaitė (b. 2000) is a young generation artist. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in painting in 2023 and actively participates in group exhibitions. Kire tsuzuki is her third solo exhibition and the final project of her Master’s degree.
