Vent is a wall-mounted lamp, the small version can be taken out of the wall bracket and moved in space, leaving a cable trace like a paint trail.

Flora Lechner is a designer from Vienna, Austria, currently based in the Netherlands.

She takes an interdisciplinary approach in her work, combining sculpture, design and moving images. She first and foremost examines the utility and handling suggested by an object or material. Flora tries to interrupt, repurpose or even overemphasize the suggestion by confronting the object with its absurdities. In this way, she plays with guidelines and imagination, exploring different levels of reality and challenging the conventions of shifts in form and material, always maintaining a humorous perspective. She likes to see her works as small stages or potential action spaces, playing with the idea of activation and ghostly stasis.
