"This painting is a part of a mosaic. One horn that grows out from a deer’s forehead, the motif of the painting - it is a supporting actor, it is what is left after purging and highlighting the main motif - the deer’s forehead in this case. However, the horn is not insignificant. It is the opposite - without it, there would be no full picture or complete painting. The painting is from a point in my life when the manifest of objects started to include my collected animal bones, horns, etc. This painting, however, is not about bones, horns or a piece of mosaic, but about people and their snippets, fragments in our lives or memories. It is about people who we tried to erase, purge the memory about them, or those who with time erase by themselves."

„Šis paveikslas tai mozaikos dalis. Vienas ragas, kuris išauga iš elnio kaktos. Paveikslo motyvas - tai antraplanis aktorius, tai kas lieka apvalius ir išryškinus pagrindinį motyvą - šiuo atveju - elnio kaktą. Tačiau ragas nėra nesvarbus, atvirkščiai - be jo nebūtų pilno vaizdo, pilno paveikslo. Paveikslas iš etapo kada daiktų manifestas pradėjo pildytis mano renkamais gyvūnų kaulais, ragais ir pan. Šis paveikslas ne tik apie kaulus, ragus ar mozaikos dalį, bet ir apie žmones ir jų nuotrupas, dalis mūsų gyvenime ar atmintyje. Apie žmones, kuriuos mes bandėme ištrinti, apvalyti atsiminimą apie juos arba per laiką jie patys nusitrynė.“
