Tijs Gilde is a designer from The Netherlands. Most products stem from material research that begins with impulsive and intuitive starting points. This research reveals a unique fascination for structures, patterns, and color, while exploring new possibilities for production and creation. After experimental phases, the next challenge is to develop these techniques into large-scale, producible objects, usually for interior purposes. Having a background in trend forecasting and strategy, Tijs always aims to tap into certain needs or trends in existing and future markets.
