“The Board”, a series of 11 photographs by Robertas Narkus, is an outcome of the artist’s creative processes throughout the quarantine period while preparing for the exhibition at Galerija VARTAI in 2020. The artist used everyday objects, wires, ropes, building materials and remnants of artworks collected in his studio to construct expressive human-sized photographs. Perhaps he created the members of an imaginary organization, committee, or directorate, posing for a corporate portrait. The titles or member's names are created using the code generator.
